Orange Park FL Real Estate

On the southern side of the Duval County line on the Westside lies Orange Park, a popular suburban community. While many of Orange Park's residents work in Jacksonville's Duval County, Orange Park is situated in Clay County, and maintains a separate school system and township government. 

With convenient access to I-295 and the Naval Air Station, Orange Park is a favorite "bedroom community" for residents who make the daily commute to Jacksonville. But Orange Park has plenty going on within its city limits, with the newly renovated Orange Park Mall, many major shopping centers along Blanding Boulevard, and the Orange Park Kennel Club. Orange Park enjoys the close access to the city while still maintaining more of a small town, old Florida feel. The history of the area can be seen in the Housing that varies widely, from inexpensive starter homes to million dollar estates. As it hugs the west bank of the St. Johns River, many of the luxurious homes boast waterfront views and boating access, either on the river or on beautiful Doctor's Lake. As Orange Park extends further from the Duval County line, it becomes more rural, as is much of the rest of Clay County. In recent years, some of that rural land has evolved into new housing developments, offering modern, stylish homes in comfortable, convenient neighborhoods. More established neighborhoods are also plentiful in Orange Park, with many homes constructed in the 1970s and 1980s.
